REVIEW
Much better than the supplied tool
"If you want to move files between your P800/P900 and your PC then this tool is actually far more useful. This is particularly true because the only files the PC Suite supplied by Sony Ericsson can handle are the media files. But with PC File Manager you can access the full "disk", either the internal memory, or the memory stick. That said, I do have some problems with it. For instance, the two ROM drives aren't accessible. It would also be nice if all of the default actions available in Windows Explorer were presented. The lack of this means that frequently you have to copy the file onto your PC before you can do something with it. Also lacking is the ability to perform operations on folder trees which means that if you want to copy a folder, all of its contents and any files and folders below that, you will have to move the files one-at-a-time. I would also like to be able to click on a folder (just as in Windows Explorer) and choose Properties to see the size of all files in that folder tree, but that's more a nice-to-have rather than a major failing. But as it stands, this is a very useful piece of software for those of you that need to move a lot of files around, and to help in disk management in general."
everything i need...
"I needed something working with my P800 to put order in its database and drives. File manager is perfect. I love it."
